    You're right. My love for Dick Nixon got in the way of my good judgment. Maybe he isn't self-serving, but he did bring down one of the greatest presidents this country has known. He is a traitor, just not a self-serving one.

    He was neither a self-serving traitor nor a heroic American.

    He was an FBI lifer who was pissed off at Nixon for passing him over for the top slot.

    Unfortunately for Nixon, and fortunately for the country, Mark Felt had some of the goods on him and used them.
