Exactly. Sometimes it’s best to keep your mouth shut instead of possibly making things worse. That tweet was stupid, but I understand it was just someone trying to slam the Libs.

The US has been prepping the battle space and is about to take Kharg Island, which would spell the end of the regime.

    For f***'s sake.

So Wolf Blitzer (Triumph the Insult Comic Dog: "Sounds like a p*rn name") of CNN was told this point blank less than 20 years ago....
....and CNN won't show it now? Or have they unearthed this one for viewers, before they're bought out and replaced by FOX 2.0 anchors?

    1. Are they going to take it with ground troops?

    2. Why would it be the end of the Iranian regime?

Doubtful. That regime is dug in. But it will make great pro-Trump press here in the US, even as the Strait continues to have problems. It will also prompt the Iranians to hit oil facilities in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states, something they have mostly refrained from doing so far.

Again, at points in the war with Iraq, Iran lost territory and Kharg was leveled, yet they are still around.

Great so they secure an island 500 miles from the strait with an overemphasized importance.

this is a propaganda 1984 style regime in place

It's unbelievable how ****ing stupid you people are. You think by taking kharg island and crippling the economy you'll end the regime? The regime doesn't give a **** if they're broke or the economy collapses. They have enough missles to keep the strait closed thus creating a global recession.

It's unbelievable how utterly dumb you boomers are

Why doesn't he demand Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and UAE patrol the straight instead of him demanding the countries he's bashed for months who aren't even in the Middle East do it? After all, his family has gotten billions dollars from investments for foreign policy and favors in the Middle East. They have helped make Trump and his family billions.

Which lead me to ask this question earlier...

Because that would be like your security team telling you to take care of yourself after you’ve paid them. Their entire military budgets are invested in specific other areas based on the understanding that the US will do its job.

There’s no altruism and brotherly love going on here. It’s business. These countries are rich AF. If this doesn’t work, the alternative is they buy nukes from Pakistan.

UAE was trashing Obama JCPOA and did everything they could to derail the agreement. They were also pushing Trump to bomb Iran and MBS has been telling Trump that he needs to continue the Iran war and escalate the bombings instead of winding down. I have zero respect for these assholes

None of this BS helps the average American unless they are the benefactors like Trump and his family. They are rich and Trump is their little b*tch. Just like he turned his head away from truth and says they didn't chop up an American into pieces. Trump only loves Muslims who make him money. He despises the others. He only threatens leaders who won't give him what he wants, but loves a good war criminal if they stroke his ego. All policies must lead back to Trump's greedy little hands getting money,by way or his precious ego that needs constant stroking one way or another. He craves money, medals, trophies, praise, flattery, and ego stroking most of all.

    Trump is not their b****.

However I agree with you that this doesn’t help the average American. I also think it is a bad decision for citizens of those other countries because it’s a scam. The person they paid for security caused the security problem.

There is common interest between the average citizens on both sides. I totally feel for you that this is public funds being flushed down the toilet and it will bring nothing to the average American.
