Go Vince! _________ Young to get first NFL start on Sunday One of the biggest stars to come out of last April's draft is going to have his chance to shine in the NFL. FOXSports.com has learned the Tennessee Titans have made a switch at QB and will start Vince Young on Sunday at home against the Cowboys, giving the No. 3 pick in last April's draft his first NFL start. Early indications this week pointed to Kerry Collins being the starter, but team sources have said that head coach has Jeff Fisher officially made the switch to Young. Fisher had his decision under wraps with hopes that the Cowboys would prepare for Collins, instead of the more mobile Young. Young has appeared in two games this season for the 0-3 Titans. After a brief appearance in a Week 1 loss to the Jets where he completed three of four passes for 27 yards and an interception, Young finished 7-of-20 for 106 yards a touchdown. Young was a Heisman Trophy candidate last season at Texas and led the Longhorns to a victory over USC in the national championship game. link

Don't know why they were bothering with the whole 'QB shifting' to begin with. It was obvious they weren't going to win much this year. Might as well let Young get his experience, see what you have.
Not at all. It's just that I have Drew Bennett as one of my recievers in a league I am in, and since I have yet to see VY throw an accurate pass of anything over 20 yards.....I am screwed.
With VY starting I project Drew Bennett to nab 12 grabs for 224 yards and 3 tds. You should probably hold on to him.
Unless VY throws screen passes to Bennett and he breaks off long runs, I don't see that happening. Update: I just traded Bennett for Joe Horn
Exactly! Bud Adams has said from the beginning of the season that he wanted VY to start against the Texans in Houston. The game will sell out and the VY merchandise that will be sold will be in the thousands. The NFL is not about winning anymore, it's all about making $$$$$$$$$$
I hope you get ready to eat your words when VY tears through our pitiful defense. VY fan or not, you have to know he's going to have a field day against us.
Let me clear a couple of things up: Collins was awful, VY is the only other option the Titans have. Why did they trade Volek? Hint: don't believe any of the crap Fisher has said about Volek. That was Bud Adams talking. The Texan WILL defeat the Titans, you can take that to the BANK!!!
