I do not think the news will be about any roster changes for the Rockets. It has to do with the tie up of the Rockets and Vipers.

Living down here in the RGV, this is awesome news..I purchased Vipers season tickets just so I can have access to the practices in Oct..Who would have thought? The Rockets in the Valley..Hopefully they can make the RGV Rocket country.
I have always followed the Rockets since 79 and have been a loyal fan ever since. Do you know if the only way to have access to the practices is to buy a season tix to the Vipers or will they go on sale to the public? I hope FOX Sports will show some Rocket's games this year instead of the Spurs.
That's cool for those close to RGV! I wouldn't mind going to a D-League game especially one affiliated with the Rockets.
From what I understand, you have to be a season ticket holder to get a pass to the practices..Actually the main reason I got season tickets was so I could get tickets to the game vs Boston...Tickets were sold out to the general public and they still had tickets for season ticket holders. About fox sports showing rocket games down here..good luck..It's best just to get the NBA league pass..it's not too bad a deal..around 140 or so, i think..and it's divided into 4 payments...
I was hoping it was more of a alternate Jersey release type of thing with the Vipers getting new jerseys as well...haha..I'm still waiting to see those Jerseys hoping its not the McDonalds theme that will be conclusion.
