It's like people want to continue the argument and then complain that the argument continues. Steve Young has a couple of 400 and 500 yards rushings seasons. Typically averages about 30+ yds rushing a game and was known for his scrambling abillities.

Also, having a quarter back that can run really is more of a modern trend that became popular in the last 15 years or so (if I'm wrong, please name some premier running quarterback before then) and since then, you have 3 quarterbacks with 400+ yds rushing seasons in the superbowl (Vick, McNair, and S. Young).
