Yeah, I really wish they had made it a bit easier to control (especially given other gameplay mechanics). I do think it becomes less of an issue the more you play, and I'm guessing it is more physically accurate for things to control that way, but it wasn't particularly fun for me. That said, I do think it is worth trying to play through those issues as the other parts of the game are great. Or just watch playthroughs as I did, and you can fast forward through the parts that involve a lot of maneuvering. I only gave it another shot because I just kept hearing more and more people praise the game so much.

Finally finished. Loved the game. As far as Raphael...
I went to his House of Hope. I ended up killing him there. His little demon guy in his room was funny and his 666 HP were a funny but tough choice. Luckily Hope helped me greatly in the battle.

Yeah. I felt like the ending left room for DLC, but I already knew that wasn't in the plans. Bummer.

I know it’s been possible before but Apple has finally made it easy for nostalgia gamers to get their fix allowing an emulator in the App Store. If you are an apple user and love NES, SNES, N64 plus most of the game boy devices I definitely recommend it. Been playing Super Mario RPG all weekend.

There is a lot to grind for if you want it, but very little of it is actually necessary. You can make a beeline for the weapons and stratagems you want early on and just be earning other small bonuses a hundred hours later... e.g. a 10% cooldown reduction on certain types of stratagems, that sort of thing. Everything important that I use most often can be earned in probably 10-15 hours of gameplay, but it's fun to earn more stuff and mix things up, particularly since they have done a great job at balancing things for the most part. The moment-to-moment gameplay never gets old, and that's what makes it so brilliant.

I finally beat Ascension Level 20 on all four characters on Slay the Spire. Only took me 800 hours….lol

Slay the Spire is an incredible game, but be warned…it’s as addictive as heroin.

Parents got my son a psvr2 for his birthday, I haven’t followed VR’s at all, but wow is the market for this thing dead.

Went to multiple gamestops to try to find some used games for it, not only did they not have used games, they didn’t have games for it - at all. This thing came out one year ago and costs 500 bucks, what’s going on.

I don't have any real data. But it is crazy. The market seems to be very light. But I've met people working on VR stuff from major console creators and they were heavily invested years ago.

They talked about about multiple party betamax vs. VHS situation but they seemed to be aware of differences and keeping development open to adjusting to whoever the winner might be while pushing their own programming for the moment.

Yet... The market has increased since then but nothing like I would have thought.

Everyone I know that plays any sort of VR is super excited at first, but then their enthusiasm drops off due to lack of content.

There is something about VR that's just simply not compelling in action.

I’ve had a lot of fun with VR experiences in arcades where your in moving seat and or have a gun hooked up.

As for the PSVR2 we just got, jury is still out. There is a big learning curve I feel like, I’ve played games for 20 years and yet still have become very confused and frustrated every time I’ve played so far lol

Too bulky and claustrophobic. The controller and feedback still needs improvement...probably needs a camera or two placed around the room like that xbox addon.

I've gotten the impression that with the right game and the right setup, VR can be pretty amazing. That said, I've never tried it myself...which is probably a huge problem in and of itself. As someone who loves games and has the money (and PC) to do this kind of thing, you'd think I'd have tried it by this point.

For the PSVR itself, I think the device itself is decent, but Sony does a terrible job of marketing it, selling it (I think they tried to sell it directly to consumers, so retailers probably don't like that?), and putting the require resources to make games for it. It is also a wired device, which is probably necessary for what they want to do, but I do think VR needs to be wireless for VR to really take off. There are some that do a better job with that kind of stuff, but they're still affected by huge barrier to entry, lack of captivating software, other VR issues, etc.

It is probably a chicken and egg thing where the experience would be better if more people bought into VR. But people don't want to buy into VR until the experience is better. :/
