    Columnist Rick Gosselin held a chat on Monday. Here are highlights from the chat.

    Question: What are your thoughts of Mack Browns future with the Horns. Do you think he will resign/be fired before the Valero Bowl?

    Gosselin: With a new AD, I think he'll want to put his own people in place. Succeed with people you hire -- don't fail with people you inherit. That's usually the mantra when a new guy comes in. I wouldn't think Steve Patterson will hold the status quo. I'd expect some changes -- quick changes -- in Austin.

    No matter what happens with Saban, I do think it's funny hearing Alabama fans say they know he will honor his contract because he is a man of integrity. LMAO

    Correction, just heard that nothing official will be announced for a couple of days. Also clarification, I don't have any direct confirmation, but this is a source I trust.
