    Don't feed the swollys.

Just watched...that was a fun game. If that had been in a WC the last 15 or so minutes would have probably given me a heart attack.

Congrats to the us fans. I forgot about the game so i cannot comment on it.

Unfortunatly our team has been terrible this last year. We might not even qualify for the EC....

It's almost like there are 2 completely different teams on the field at the same time for The Netherlands. Offensively, they are extremely dangerous with some of the best players in the world moving forward. Defensively, though, they are horrid. On Brooks goal, he was allowed to run 80 yards without anyone picking him up. Williams' goal happened because they couldn't clear the box off a corner. That was the 3rd or 4th corner/cross clearance that landed just outside the box on a US player's foot.

I was very surprised how poorly they played defensively. Not that our's was much better. Brooks constantly let Huntelaar alone which essentially led to all 3 goals.

    Last game?

    WE BEAT THEM.

    <iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/URDGlb0QJQ8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

We've actually beat them three times and before this game y'all had lost all four against them. Advantage? How? LOLs

Guus might be let go because of losing to the U.S. and A. this badly. Come on, now, up two goals and you stop playing? :(

Not to mention Sjneider coming in in the 2nd half I believe and Memphis Depay playing the whole game. This guy is going to be fun to watch. Will be on Man United next season apparently. He had a couple of chances but final touch wasn't good enough to get goals. He completely embarrassed us in the box on one play but Beckerman came back just in time to save the day.

Our defense was mind-boggling. How do you leave someone as dangerous as Huntelaar completely unmarked? Brooks tends to have some pretty bad mental lapses out there at times, and it's costing us dearly.

The back line under Klinsmann has been a continuing sore spot and I don't see how he's going to unearth any consistent, cohesive talent from what we've seen so far.

Agree that the Dutch team wasn't a B unit, but you shouldn't really look to hard into friendlies. The season is over in Europe and most players are already on vacation in their minds.

Powerhouses like Germany constantly lose or draw vs very average teams and then dismantle them come EC and WC, it's a completely different setting and approach.

The biggest issue is that the team plays too timid when the game is still in the balance. They hesitate, and don't move with any real plan as far as team defending goes. I could be wrong on this, but I've rarely seen them run an off-side trap to try and push up while the game is still being decided. Aggression comes from confidence, and they still don't seem to have it. Hopefully it comes with time.

I don't think anyone is looking too hard into the friendlies...it was a nice win but these games are just tune up games for the important ones in July.

I think people are just excited because of the comeback aspect of the game. With how horrible our second halves have been since the WC it was nice to see the opposite finally.

What Indaface said. No one's claiming we're on top now. We, too, tend to not play up to our best in friendlies with some exceptions. Beating Italy in Italy a few years ago was nice. The 4-3 win against Germany last year was nice. It's always a good time beating mexico.

It was just cool to come back being 2 down against a team we've never even scored on in their house.

Yes. Mexico 3 wins vs. Netherlands. USA 1 vs. Netherlands. You got it. Maybe you should check yourself before you wreck yourself, homie.

    Good game tonight, ladies.
