    I'm the same way. While I don't mind sending a personal check to Clutch (and have before... really need to send another), in this case (no offense meant to anyone... this is just how cautious I am) I would have to send a money order, I guess. Will need to look into that. I could scribble Deckard on it somewhere.

    No offense Deckard but I am really surprised at how concerned you are about someone finding out who you really are? Are you really Jerry Sloan or Popovich and you would lose your job if it got out you were really a Clutchfan?

    What if you sent the check to Clutch and ask him to forward the money to R2K?

    When you send a check you give that person your account and routing number along with probably phone number full name and physical address.

    Quite a bit of info to someone you have never met when there are alternatives readily available.

    True, but Moestavern has a long posting history plus a quick search will reveal his real name and his wife's. If something happened could track him down. That said there are risks of ID theft in most transactions and provided reasonable precautions are taken I don't see sending Moes a check is a very big risk.
