    I made reference to Juwan in the game chat so that got me thinking of unusual Rockets player facts....
    1. Eddie Griffin and the train. RIP
    2. Juwan Howard accused of stealing $2,000 sun glasses in Miami
    3. Carl Landry gets shot in the leg
    4. Terrence Jones kicks homeless person
    5. Steve Francis and the Super Bowl suspension
    6. Yao Ming gets followed to his home by some overzealous fans
    7. Harden and the honey buns / gentlemen's clubs
    8. ........

    Tilman bought the team, not a player fact but it’s really sad


    Also,

    Landry had multiple teeth lodged into Dirks elbow on a drive.

    Brooks has a promising career completely derailed by the “Kawhi rule” foul before it became popular.

    Didn't we have the chance to trade TMac for Vince Carter before he decided to announce surgery or is my brain making that up? IIRC that was the year we lost to the Lakers after Yao's and Deke's careers ended in back-to-back series.

    Eddie Griffin my god he was so talented. He was incredibly athletic shot blocker and on offense he was a stretch forward before it became fashionable.


    Unfortunately he had many off the court issues and demons. He just could never put it together here or with the Wolves.RIP

    Another sad chapter is the whole

    Scottie Pippen mess and it’s toxic ending.

    Glen Rice becoming washed as soon we got him from New York

    Olajuwon in a Toronto uniform

    Yao breaking his leg when the Rockets were on the verge of beating the eventual world champions Lakers in the second round.

    Mcgrady breaking down after back and knee debilitating issues in 2009 when the Rockets were stacked with talent and could have won the title
