CJ has played in Northern winter bad weather outdoor football before. I have faith. In a game dragged down by bad weather that included rain and winds surpassing 30 mph, Stroud’s legs made a difference in keeping Ohio State unbeaten as the calendar turned to November. He ran for a career-high 79 yards, a rushing total that surpassed his 76 yards through the air against the Wildcats. https://www.dispatch.com/story/spor...eyes-cj-stroud-win-northwestern/69604172007/#
Wet, but mild temps in the low 60's. Still have PTSD from the Oilers' complete and utter inability to deal with cold, wet weather.
Yes, looks to be a nasty, windy weather day. Will be a good test to see how we handle such conditions…
Randomly going to New York this weekend with the wife to visit some friends and staying til Monday. Was elated to realize I could actually go to MetLife. But the wife has “brunch plans” for us. Anyone up there with a connect to some high end tickets I could buy to sweeten the deal and get her to let me sneak away? Haha. I know it’s cheaper up there for now, wanted to see what the plan is usually there, wait til the end do ticket prices drop? Is there a traveling Texans group?
If yall do an early brunch around 10 and end it around 12, you can still make it to the game in time around 1p...theoretically
It depends on the footing. I really think his problem has been his eye level this season. Purely speculation, but I wonder if they're coaching him to take advantage of defensive footwork and he's just fixated on it. His film study from last season appears to show a higher eye level at the line of scrimmage. Singleton is more of a finesse runner who will work out when playing on a fast track. We need to get the game plan to match the opponents and game conditions. I did notice Nico uses gloves, so he should remain a good target if C J can grip the ball.
Stroud should have experience gripping wet footballs since dieter sweats all over them during the game
Not to derail this thread too much, but I haven't watched the Pack at all this season and am wondering about your thoughts on Love at QB
