Browns defense is legit. We’re not beating them with a backup qb. Hopefully CJ clears protocol.

Flacco threw 3 picks yesterday but also threw for 374 and the game winning td pass. Apparently the O line has been struggling for them recently.

Need the same pass rush we seen yesterday.

Line moved a point and we are now -2.5 favorites. Jags are +2.5 dogs and Colts -1.5 favorites.

Their TE had 100 yards. I hate facing teams that use their TEs. ugh.

Do we have a QB on the practice squad as an emergency QB if CJ is still out?

Does Tart immediately make the active roster?

Any new injuries after the Titans game?

Myles Garret's bad shoulder is hurting his play. There defense has taken a hit accordingly.

Browns defense has given up 28 to the Jaguars, 36 to the Rams, 29 to the Broncos, and 17 to Justin Fields and the Bears in the last 4 games.

There's a solid opportunity to come out and win this game on Sunday and potentially thrust yourself atop the AFC South with the Jaguars likely out Lawrence.

    Exciting times for the Texans.

Dolphins/Bills probably will decide the final wild card slot with Cleveland, Indy, and Houston fighting for the final two.

I'm torn. I want C J to be healthy and able to play. But I fear they may play him just because he's judged OK to come off protocol. I think we need a higher standard to risk re-injury so soon after the last one.

I don't want to risk his future just for a chance to get into the playoffs this year. I just remember players who began a series of concussion injuries after their first. If it's because they needed a smidge more recovery time, then do it. If that's already part of the newer concussion protocols, then never mind.

Agreed, I would rather him take his time and be 100% ready, I dont want him nor the team to rush back........a concussion needs time to heal, the more time you give it rest the less the next one could possibly be...............I would be overly cautious and slightly paranoid

The Bears have given us the blueprint on how to handle Myles Garett. lol. Didn’t JJ also face the same thing?

I don't see CJ playing. Word is, he's still having trouble with lighting. That's not good at this point of the week. Would be great to squeak out another win. This time vs a playoff team that we will leap with a victory. Not to mention, Lawrence probably won't play against a Bucs team that could very well beat them. Huge week for us if we can win.

I do not believe the cessation of symptoms necessarily indicates he is ready to play. Sometimes healing requires more time than that. But I loved the report of Demeco saying his concern is C J and his health is more important than any game, even this one.

I'm just thinking about a possibility. If C J isn't ready, the win by Keenum over the Titans could be followed by a Mills win over the Browns (stronger arm) and finally C J wins over the Titans and Colts. This would have to be some sort of record.

What? Then what do you think they base it off of?

I already said it. The body isn't necessarily healed just because the symptoms have ceased which is what I think the protocol relies on. My basis is the ease of repeated injury of a sprained ankle. Even when you can play on it, it is easy to sprain again for a bit. So I'm thinking of a Concussion as a brain sprain, whether correct or not.
