    I literally stopped by like 7 corner stores and krogers and food town and they didn't have anything. They weren't even selling newspapers.

    I am in a fog still. With Houston's past, it's hard to be sure it really happened. But it did! The Astros are the World Series Champions!

    Huge props to Hinch, who basically made a bullpen where there was none. and squeezed out relief innings out of what we had. So crazy. Amazing job.

    I still can't believe that actually happened last night. I've known for a while that this team was good enough to do it, but to actually finish it off, man it's something else.

    Even though i'm on cloud 9, I think me and sports need a break for a little while. This postseason was a torture chamber.

    I was actually looking forward to what you and some others had to say last night. I know there were a select few of us who hung around for the rough times. I probably spent more time in the minor league thread than I did in the big club's threads, but wow I cried a tear or two when the Tom Petty Music came on showing our boys holding the trophy.

    The good news is, this world series effect will last at least a month... and will help put the Texans struggling to make the playoffs, along with the largely meaningless NBA regular season, in perspective.

    If it wasn't for Deshaun Watson, I'd probably be good in going into a sports hibernation coma till April.

    I posted a little last night after the game, it's still so surreal for those of us that stuck this thing out. We had all these prospects, and a 5 year plan.

    2013 suck-get picks
    2014 suck less
    2015 compete
    2016 compete more
    2017 win a WS

    Plans like this never work out correctly, but it actually f**king happened.
