We opened at - 180...East Coast knocked it down to 160-165....and here comes the smart money moving us up..back to - 180 at present..and climbing.

Hell ya. I swear if this offense can just give Southern Oklahoma Keuchel a quick lead, we will cruise.

These are the 5 guys I want making up the core of this team for the next 6-7 years at least.

Feel like we might have to lose Marwin eventually though.

Marwin is extremely important to the future success of the Stros. He fills in throughout the year for guys that are injured or need rest and produces at an allstar level. Very underrated this year and I would not be surprised if hes a defining reason we beat the Yankees in this series.

I believe that someone else will pay him rather than us. Derek Fisher might be his replacement

Also can see Springer leaving for more money. Insert Kyle Tucker.

Yep, i see him leaving too. A lot of guys on this team will get paid and we cant pay all of them.

I believe luhnow will prioritize keeping correa before all else but i think we will be able to keep our infield of bregz, altuve, correa.

    Thats the untouchable core IMO

I can see that. He's the one who drafted Correa / Bregman. Altuve is the most loved player.

Do you think Keuchel and McCullers leave?

I have no idea lol. I dont really know much about what other pitching options we would even have.

I just believe luhnow wont pay guys like springer or marwin because of our farm system and keeping $ available for correa bregz + altuve

    What do you think?

I think you have to pay Marwin. He was arguably your runner up for Team MVP this year and is huge for us.

I would try to keep Keuchel on a team friendly deal moving forward. McCullers is a bull pen arm who wants to be a starter.

Whitley looks to be a guy who can replace McCullers coming up. We have a few more stud arms in the minors coming up as well. Astros are still relatively deep.

Any team can win it, any team can lose it. "Better" doesn't matter now.

    Get some, Stros.

Ken Davidoff from the NY Post was just on Matt Thomas' show and predicted the Yankees to win in five. There's definitely some homers in the New York media...
