    He did win the US Open with a broken leg. He also was one o the first golfers to incorporate strength training into his practice regimen, and now most guys on tour stay in much better shape than in past generations.

    Whether or not he is an athlete is just an opinion, but you cannot argue the fact that he transcends the game.

    I'm surprised that so many of you have given the benefit of the doubt to a rumor blog.
    The thread title even says "unconfirmed."

    The blog post itself is titled: "Is Tiger Woods Cheating on his Wife?"
    Notice the question mark - Fox News style. Even the blog isn't giving it as much credence as you all are.

    The source for the blog's post? The NATIONAL ENQUIRER.

    The source for the National Enquirer? The "friends" of the homewrecker.

    The homewrecker's "friends" are willing to quote the homewrecker's private conversations.
    The homewrecker herself has denied any affair.
    Even if the homewrecker told her friends this... she is a homewrecker. She's PSYCHO!

    The source of this story is three times removed from the blog.

    I'm not a Tiger fan. I don't even watch golf.
    (I do, however, play Tiger Woods Golf on occasion)

    But let's have something to corroborate a story?
    Oh wait, the friend passed a polygraph test.

    I don't get this. Doesn't that basically SCREAMS that golf is not a sport? I actually think golf is a sport. But I just find this argument kind of weird. That's all.

    I'm also sure Tiger's banging a lot of chicks other than his wife. Even by celebrity standard, I'm sure Tiger can get women easily.

    Pimphand, the national enquirer is one of many speculative gossipy outlets reporting this story.

    Snuffleupagus, it's not the fact that he's banging another chick that is so bewildering, but the things he says to the other chick. Especially the fact that he tells her he's going to leave his wife and kids to be with her. Similar to the promises McNair made to his skank - these guys can get laid without all these verbal commitments, but they don't know how else to keep the same skank coming back.

    When you become a man one day, you might understand what I'm talking about.

    If we were picking an athlete to compete in a "Battle of the Sports Superstars" where they competed against each other over several sports; I think Tiger would be a strong pick; physical strength and body control, focus and concentration, the will win ... he's up there.

    Also, if there is anybody more image conscious than Tiger , I don't know who it is. I seriously doubt he would commit acts that would risk public disclosure.

    But I guess everyone let's the little head do the thinking every once in a while. And you know, Scandinavian women aren't as hung up on sex and fidelity issues as American women are.
