I was about to start a thread on this. The only 2 fights I care about are : Machida vs. Evans : I love Machida's fighting. I love his and his family's story. I want this guy to win so bad. That, and I hate Evans for being a showboat in so many of his fights. This is a fight between 2 guys I still can't understand how they win some of the fights they're not favored in. lol. This will be an interesting clash in styles. Both like stand up and both are hard to hit and hit hard using different styles. Karate/Muay Thai vs. Boxing/Wrestling - Machida has taken down and ground & pounded wrestlers. He's taken aggressive guys that push forward and beat them down. Rashad has taken guys who love to kick, caught their kicks, and put them on their back (Griffin). Serra vs. Hughes : Serra's a blowhard and Hughes is stuck up. I honestly hope they beat the crap out of each other. There's a lot of bad blood here and a lot of trash-talking on Serra's part. If Hughes is on his game, and even though he's on the decline, I think he can take care of Serra. The question is whether or not Hughes has dropped further in skills as he's gotten older. Serra's shown that given one or two openings he can put you on your back (see GSP vs. Serra where Serra won the belt). Hughes needs to jump on him and pound him like GSP did - a younger Hughes could do this. I'm not sure I care much about the other fights...
Serra by tko in the second. Machida by ko in the 4th round. I like Evans but Machida's defense is damn good. This dude never gets hit.
