I miss Richmond Arms. There's some decent pubs in Dallas but Richmond Arms was the place for me back in Houston.

I do, too. There is really only 1 place in Austin (Fado's) but it get's way too packed. I would have had to have been there for breakfast to get a seat.

I felt it was a horrible idea to stage it in Rome. I'm sorry but the Italian supporters have no love for the English and just like a number of other European supporters they feel the need to show that they are tough guys and are/have bigger ultra's/firms than the English. It's ridiculous. You could be a simple passerby and as long as you're English they'll want to start something.

PS. I realize a number of Brits also decide to go overseas and act like idiots especially after having a couple of pints in them but all in all fans and police at many European cities have no mercy on the English. :(

Wow, that sux. At least in Dallas there's two other decent choices-Dubliner and Tipperary Inn apart from the Londoner.

Where are you watching the match then?

So if it comes down to Lakers vs Cavs which are supposedly the best teams in U.S. and two best players are playing, then will we see craziness? ;)

But yeah, I don't think we ever will see that with NBA.

My dad is a passionate fan for his Mexican teams but he's not the type to beat people up. He'll quietly root from his couch. From what I hear, Mexico has crazy fans too but not as crazy like them in Europe.

Nah luv, it's not just Europe. There's crazy fans everywhere. South America-Brazil, Argentina(Some of the toughest supporters), Uruguay
    Africa-Nigeria, Senegal

I dunno much about Asia but there's crazy supporters everywhere. As long as they keep it safe and refrain from violence then it's all good.

One reason you wouldn't is because it's a 7 game series. This is winner take all. There will be actual fans of both teams in the house as opposed to the seats being filled with corporate sponsors...a la the Super Bowl. There will be fights and probably deaths after this game...you can almost book it.

30 minutes and Manchester can't get a good touch on the ball. Barcelona is controlling the 1st half very easily.

Will they re-air the taped version later on tonight or some other date?

My dad is missing this and he's a soccer nut (even if he can't remember half the teams :D )

barcelona started nervous but they are now controlling the pace of the game and really imposing there style.

about the crazy fans discussion, yep they are everywhere especially inside organized supporters groups ( in nba would be something like red rowdies i guess) and yeah the big diffrence is that in various soccer games between rivals the stadium is spit between the both supporters, also u get like 80000 supporters in a soccer stadium....

well i expect a great second half especially if Man u dont score a early goal fergunson will have to make Man U play more offensively

Take out Park, and put in Tevez....

Piquo and that yellow card have kept Barc in the lead.

The better side won, Barca played amazing soccer....congrats to them.

As for Man U, Rooney had to have bet on Barca, he gave the ball away all night.
