Udoka’s two major weaknesses coming into the second half of the season were “challenges” and “late game fouling”. Appreciation goes out to him for noticeably vast improvements in those areas. Recently, he’s been spot on with his challenges and winning most of them. They are called at the proper times and improvement is definitely apparent. After blowing the Chicago game by allowing them to shoot a three pointer with a three point lead and just a couple seconds left, Udoka now has changed his philosophy to foul the shooter for the two harmless free throws. Udoka learns from his mistakes and works to avoid continuing to make them and that earns him respect by his players. We are very fortunate to have a coach who leads by example.
