    Yeah, for some reason in my mind harkens back to Clinton's Republican "Taliban" jokes at the Press Club dinner (which probably inspired that Newsroom GOP primary subplot in season 2), and Totenberg's AIDS comment about Jesse Helms.

    In this instance it's just a dismissive comment made because someone as far gone as yourself isn't worth more than that. You are completely lost in the throes of faux outrage, any attempt to reason with you will be futile because your goal is to pretend to be outraged about something that's not outrageous at all. By all means though, keep it up, it works as decent unintentional comedy.
