That's where the coaching staff comes in as the players and coaching staff spend a lot of time with each other or around each other.

Maybe McHale was supposed to be a culture guy (obviously wasn't brought in for a X's and O's type of role). McHale had the pedigree (all them rings), stayed around the league throughout the years through different capacities, played with some of the greats, and was himself an all time great and not some small role player on a great team. I think it ended up with McHale being a "boys will boys" type of figurehead when it came to accountability and "discipline" and a culture where you "can't take anything for granted and have to battle each day to get better and win" never emerged among the group.

With that said, I don't think Harden is a "lazy" guy off the court as he isn't a physical specimen or insanely sought after college recruit. The dude works hard, but just doesn't have the "do anything to get better and win" mentality at this stage of his career.

I meant fit with each other, not necessarily into the system.

Morey would tell you it is his fault, he is a stand up guy, this is his mess, he built the roster, he hired the coaches, he screwed the pooch on getting players that fit, and trying to build with flawed pieces.

We need a BASKETBALL guy above him, or as a high level Consultant, we need our Jerry West type.

    Maybe Rudy T?

wouldn't daryl moron be a better name than daryl moronic? it flows much better because it's more similar to his real name.

yeah i couldn't imagine rudy allowing the team to be constructed to have this offense we run with iso after iso with tons of kick-outs for 3's.

Morey will tell it's his fault and next interview tell you that he's confident about "this group".

The offense can work, but the players don't fit the scheme.

Is there ever one when he needs to show his face?

Cowards that assemble one of the most disappointing teams in NBA history (which he has had a say in more than any GM probably ever--) don't show their face when the going gets rough.

    They do the talking ...

So the Warriors don't set moving screens? Bogat and Green don't play a bit dirty?

I don't even think Morey is a top GM, but the criticisms are so amateur and child like I just have to stamp out the ignorance.
