I think it was a solid start to the season. Gave us a glimpse at the New Normal I will be watching. . .the preview of the season looks interesting Rocket River
Hmm...so the main guy triggers a car alarm in a dark parking garage drawing them in, runs out of bullets and has to reload, then has to resort to using a knife to stab one of these stain-er dudes in the head to save himself, then gets back in the cab throwing the worm-ridden knife in the backseat, and somehow miraculously wasn't infected and didn't get any worms on his hand. Just a little flick of the hand should do the trick. My magic eight ball says "Unlikely".
Agreed. I figured they showed the knife in the backseat for a reason but it never paid off Rocket River
I stuck with this and enjoyed the season. Love Quinlan and the payoff at the end of the season was worth it. Curious to see how long they can stretch this out.
Spoiler Well...had a hard time buying the finale. The guy's son was so snowed by vampirism that he identified more with his Mom than his Dad, rejected his Dad for killing his Mom the vamp, triggered the nuke to explode, and then runs off with Nazi vamp. I mean...that is a serious amount of BS they want us to buy there. It was a "jumped the shark" moment.
Guillermo is definitely making a social commentary on the effects of white america's consumption with heavy work hours and sleeping around. The absence of his father made him resent the father and choose dat zompire lifestyle or the writers are on crack.
I watched the premier of this season, and non of the other episodes. Is this show still worth watching? There is so much inconsistency in some of the aspects that annoy me. Like the zombies in TWD, some can touch you and have your ripped open and pull limbs off....while at other times they basically just tug on someone's shoe laces as they dangle above them.... In this show it bothered me how early on they made such a big deal about the "blood/guts" with the worms in being so dangerous.....then suddenly they are melee(ing) the vamps with out concern of the splatter.
Yeah a main character gets a facial two separate times bc of the splatter, I would think after the first time they'd learn but maybe she was into facials...
Me too, I really hate that so many shows want to have kids as central characters..... Series was ok but like someone mentioned the finale was just like "what?"......it didn't make much sense. 2 seasons left......maybe should have just stopped at three like originally planned...... http://deadline.com/2016/09/the-str...x-carlton-cuse-guillermo-del-toro-1201826976/
Spoiler Didn't the master drop some blood in his mouth or something earlier in the season? He may have some control over the boy.
it's annoying and stupid but rejecting his dad and not understanding the magnitude of his decision there doesn't seem all that ridiculous...not as much as other things in the show.
