Well, It's a Vertigo comic, but that makes it technically a DC property. Flash, Arrow, Legends are not part of the same universe as iZombie. Right now, in their current runs, I look forward to iZombie more than the other DC shows.
Stranger Things: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stranger_Things_(TV_series) I loved this series. It has a very strong story so it doesn't have to completely rely on 80's nostalgia. I would compare the story and/or feel to E.T. or Goonies.
Last Chance U on Netflix Surprised no one is talking about this.Very interesting football docu-series.
Atlanta, the show from Donald Glover of Community, Black Spiderman, and Childish Gambino fame, is funny. If you don't like it after the first episode, the second episode is much better. the lockup scenes were damn hilarious.
didnt feel like making a new thread so i figured i would throw this here. The Tick came out on AMazon Prime yesterday. If you enjoy the original cartoon then I think you will like this. The guy playing the Tick does an excellent job. Only 6 short episodes though.
The Tick is Peter Serafinowicz, the guy who says "What a bunch of a-holes" in the first Guardians of the Galaxy and given his natural smooth British voice, he does an amazing job. If I didn't know he was the actor in advance, I never would have guessed it. Original 70's Bad News Bear Jackie Earle Haley as The Terror also does a great job. I watched the whole series, and didn't recognize him until checking the credits after. The Alexa product placement made me laugh. Usually placements that blatant annoy the he'll out of me. The only problem is how short it is. Feels like about a quarter of a season. 6 half hour episodes . Highly recomended.
I found Wrecked as a pretty good summer show. I think the second season has much better than the first.
right now i'm watching preacher, rick & morty, and american dad. can't wait for better call saul, the americans, fargo, and westworld to come back. i need to watch atlanta, but not many other shows interest me.
