I'm glad to hear that. I still thought 3 was really good.

Chris Rock is way overdue for something decent. He should shine in a quasi-serious role.

 

I think you're severely underestimating Pootie Tang.

 

I love the TV series but the Movie is still tops.

 

I didn't watch the movie until after I had watched seasons 1 & 3 of the TV show. To me, the movie was an abbreviated version of the first season. There was nothing wrong with it, but they were able to develop the characters much more thoroughly on the show... and I was much more invested in the outcome because of it. Had I watched the movie first I might have felt differently.

 

The movie is great but the first couple seasons of the tv show are better.

 

Yeah that makes sense.

I saw the movie 1st and it was a revelation, I had never seen anything like it.

The tone being both funny and suspenseful was right in my wheelhouse.

Marge is still one of my favorite characters ever.
