Tucker deserves his own thread

Before we go full offseason...

Tucker played his heart out. He signed a pretty big deal in the offseason and averaged all of 6-6 during the regular season, but he was a huge difference maker for the team the entire playoffs.

14 pts, 12 boards, 4 steals tonight. 2-5 from 3, which is sadly more than anyone else on the team can say. I’m glad he’ll be back.

 

tucker is basically the second coming of pbev, except better at basketball

 

I thought Tucker was amazing this series - played his heart out, consistently reliable - except that sloppy inbounds pass to capela's back. love having him on this team

 

He gave 100%. No complaints about him.

 

Tucker was worth every f**king penny. Couldn't possibly expect more out of one of your top role players.

Nah, he is a not great value contract, but a real keeper, only player that consistently showed up on defense end and hit the open shot, + so many loose balls, rebound and deflections.

 

This was his first year in Htown.. cant wait to keep building with him and hopefully bring him a ring in the near future

 

he is locked for 3 more years, if we lose him, maybe it's for Lebron

 

We better hope Warriors in 4 or 5 then

 

Agreed, He turned out to be my favorite Rocket. It was great watching him work.

So happy we have him. Hope he stays a Rocket long term.

 

Tucker was rock solid. We asked him to do all the dirty work and not one peep or worry about that matchup. We need more PJ Tuckers

 

Happy to have PJ on board for next year. Dude was a beast tonight and through out of the year.
