Sengun has been struggling for sure and NBA teams are now sending doubles as well.

It's up to Sengun to adjust. He is a smart guy, I think he will. It was kinda embarrassing when he blew 2 wide open layups in the same possession but he will be fine

 

If you think this is equivalent to Jalen no wonder you think the way you do.

How many points did Sengun let Biyombo score on him? That was disgusting to watch. Ime will need to start benching Sengun

 

in all seriousness though Alpi had 3 blocks and 2 steals tonight, and I thought he looked like Ime got into him about letting his defense fall off when his shot isn't going down, and took it seriously. His defensive intensity was way up.

Yet apart from one game - he still impacts the game defensively - him being subbed out for defensive lineups to end the game today was a little comical, considering how solid he was defensively.

I'm shocked - shocked I tell you. That the one time a player cut on a Sengun post up - Dillon Brooks found himself standing under the basket receiving the ball for a layup. The team is doing a huge disservice to Sengun by not having anyone play the role of KMJ last year.

The difference between him and the other player you're trying to make a point about with this stupid thread - is one contributes elsewhere when they don't score. The other doesn't, and is most times literally useless.

 

Grizz are a tough matchup for him. Biyombo can do a good job on an island, and having JJJ (the DPOY) always eager to come help makes them a very hard team to score against in the post for a guy like Sengun.

So yeah he's looked worse but I'm not worried.

A bad game or three from Sengun has become another day at the office for Green.

 

Any sensible Rockets fan has to be thrilled so far. It’s a team full of youngsters and with them come growing pains. Very impressive how versatile and resilient this group is. Love how Ime will bench anyone who refuses to play D.

 

Except Jalen's been bad except 3 games all season whereas Sengun's been good except the past 3 games.
