I remember way back when AT&T was giving out bonuses after getting that huge corporate tax cut... well, at least they got those $1,000 bonuses... AT&T touted worker bonuses after $3 billion Trump tax cut. Now it’s outsourcing thousands of jobs After giving workers $1,000 bonuses, AT&T is forcing many of those workers to train their own foreign replacements https://www.salon.com/2019/12/31/at...ax-cut-now-its-outsourcing-thousands-of-jobs/
T has been doing this for more than a decade. my sister-in-law was w PacBell, one of T's operating units, she accepted her co's voluntary retirement at offer at age 39; she spent the last yr there training her foreign replacements. that was when W was president
Since the rich person and corporate tax cut worked so well at booming the deficit, trump repeats his middle class tax cut lie...
How can people not see the lies coming this administration? With Trumps budget and continuing deficits why are people on this board and people on the right defend them. They will lie about anything. It is sick
Does the tax cut look like a good move now? We could have reduced deficit for the last few years and we would also have more room for deficit spending now. Did we learn from the 2008 crisis? Nada, Zilch! I bet GOP would do the exact same if they get a chance in the future.
A bunch of us have always said that trickle down economics is total bullshit. It's no different than these bailout checks that will be distributed to the public, regardless if you lost your job or not. But, "trickle down economics". lol
