It will only dissuade those arriving by land which may or may not be how most are arriving at a certain time.

You have an issue with me connecting trump's name with the wall? When (1) trump made it his primary campaign issue and (2) he has been laser focused at getting it built... including having a government shutdown and now taking money away from the military to pay for his wall.

And btw, are you a trump supporter?

Why would i have an issue connecting any name to a wall? To answer that question, no i don't have an issue with what you call the wall.

To answer your second question, I'll ask you to define "Trump supporter". Do i blindly agree with anything and everything he does because he is Donald Trump? To answer that, no.

So what's your point on both questions?

Why doesn't Trump declare a national emergency to fix our healthcare system?

Finding more BP agents is a challenge. Seems more solvable (more/better recruiting, higher salaries) than a wall that (1) requires you to circumvent congress and (2) take money away from military pay raises and benefits, take land away from landowners along the border (and put some citizens on the wrong side of the wall), and cause environmental and economic problems along the border.

Well, which method is more feasible is debatable, IMO, but I just wanted to get it in there that ramping up BP agents has not been easy, even when Obama was president. Nor do I think increasing the pay will solve the issue, although it would likely help at least a little.

It's very difficult to pass all their various tests, to get in. Thus the pool of available talent is going to be thin. Plus it's not always seen as a desirable job (which might be putting it mildly).

And, with a wall, there are no salaries or healthcare benefits to worry about. :D

Was there any point to these questions? I was hoping for some questions about what it's like just off the border in the RGV or something of that nature. However, I did answer your questions.

My request was that you simply define "Trump Supporter."

Unfortunately, a wall has no effect on staffing needs per the Border Patrol union.

What can he do from the white house when he has already issued orders? Can he not issue orders while working on his putt while sipping down Arnold Palmers? If anything, this just shows his ability to delegate. A good leader can't micromanage and this just shows how much of a cool head he keeps during a crisis. A-plus handing of the crisis.
