Twitter is already struggling to retain users. Banning Trump would just be an another nail to the coffin.
LOL. President's quotes made to appear from the mouth of the Red Skull and all the quotes seem oddly apropos, exactly the kind of thing a supervillian is expected to monologue about.
Well so far we have had President Trump question the sanctity of our free elections; has claimed the judiciary branch isn't authentic and doesn't want to protect American citizens and now he is calling the press the enemy of the American people. Basically any institution that can question him or call him out on his lies or stop him.
**** the Media and its bull **** lies! Truly the media is trying to destroy and divide our damn country. Wake the **** up people and have discernment!
You just don't get it. They were already "frothing at the mouth" over the press far before Trump came along. Hell, they are cheering him on. Did you not pay attention to the Wikileaks revelations about these particular "media" outlets?
No, I didn't... unless you think the private correspondences exchange between two people represents the entirety of the media. Do people like you know how vastly different print media like NYT operate vs cable news outlets before people like you and Trump make absurd blanket generalizations? This is why indivudals like you and Trump aren't fit to be president. This isn't an insult to you btw. I'm not fit to be president. Very few are and ought to be. It's the quick trigger generalization blanketing that allows for no nuance to enter.
And btw, here's an unexpected critic of Trump's attack of the media as "the enemy of the people": Hayes also tweeted his thoughts on Trump's attack as being "unAmerican."
Here here. According to David Brooks of the failing New York Times: "Here we have an administration where he’s making a lot of press conferences, but, on the substantive picks, he doesn’t have a national security adviser. There are 691 confirmable positions in the White House. The Trump administration has not even come up with names and nominees for 631 out of those 691. So there is nobody there, nobody in the shop, no policy-making being made." If these numbers are true, and Brooks is pretty good with his facts, I'm surprised they aren't getting more attention.
What a complete nutcase. I am so entertained that we have entered the science fiction realm and Baron Harkonnen is our fierce leader, and there are people that actually support him. Amazing times we live in.
"fakes news" doesn't make policy decision. But Trump admin does make policy decisions based on many lies, alt facts and conspiracy theories. If fake news is a risk to national security, Trump is exercising that risks right in front of our eyes.
