I keep trying to find justification for what he says or does. I have a deep rooted desire to find a logical reason because he is the leader of the most powerful nation in the world. There just isn’t one, he really is stupid. He really is a living example of entitlement and his election really does reflect how reckless and foolish we are as a people.
Consider Trump has made a living for decades being bombastic and saying outrageous things. I don’t know if what he does is just him unable to turn off the act or if that is what he really is. I also believe that he does a lot of this to keep people off balance knowing that it’s hard to stay focused in any particular bit of craziness when there is a constant stream of this stuff.
I think it’s both. It’s what he really is, and he is unable to “turn it off.” He’s been doing the same con act his whole life. Every time it got him in deep ****, he’s been able to weasel his way out it. A couple of times it was thanks to the People’s Republic of China, something he managed to keep out of the 2016 election, something he continues to lie about. He is unhinged.
