I wonder if the time is right for states to sue the federal government on constitutional grounds. Federal government can control transportation of mar1juana across state lines per the commerce clause, but are they really empowered to stop someone from growing and selling mar1juana intrastate? That should only be state law. Instead of waiting for Congress to fix the law, sue and make them fix it.

So . . .. Why are we trying to be 'compassionate' to the Opiod heads again?

Why we trying to be 'understanding' and treat the opiod 'crisis' like they are victims of addiction but want to put mar1juana users in jail forever????
What is the different between taking opiods and smoking MariJ?

Sounds like the Feds are trying to track 'legal' weed by adding in a chemical tracking agent...

    https://merryjane.com/news/new-colo...abis-plants-to-help-police-track-illegal-weed

A new bill being proposed in the Colorado Senate would require all cannabis plants in the state to be marked with a chemical tracking agent in order to help local police keep tabs on all hemp and mar1juana grown in the state. The bill, SB 029, stipulates that “the technology must include an agent that is applied to a mar1juana plant, mar1juana product, industrial hemp, or industrial hemp product and then scanned by a device."

The technology has not yet been developed, but...

The bill would task Colorado State University Pueblo with developing the tracking agent, after which the state would designate a sole vendor to sell the product. Law enforcement agencies would then be able to purchase this technology using grants from cannabis sales tax revenue.

Just as long as they don't add in Windex like some swaggers like to do around here...?!?!?
