That doesn't contradict what I wrote Hoyer is a career backup. I understand him trying to get something out of mallet Mallet has a lot of natural talent. Much more than Hoyer Edit: all things including games played and playoffs it was hands down his best season
perhaps, but I think the majority of it is just god awful footwork. When he's on the run, he can make some decent throws, but if he's standing still, it's just terrible.
Can we kill this thread? I really don't feel like we should compare this whole season to a guy we never were gonna be high enough to get, and another guy we didn't know was gonna go so early.. let's just keep it texans.
Well as of right now, I would agree. Watson is by far the least ready of the 4 and has the worst arm talent. That doesn't mean that he won't develop into being better than some or all of them, it just means that he's nowhere near there now.
Sam Darnold was AWFUL today. That's why u don't "Suck for a QB". Projections are basically guesses. When u have a chance to take a QB....u love....u take them.
The Wyoming kid is the one who intrigues me. Of course we don't have a top draft pick for like 10 years now.
50% completion, 0 TDs, and 2 INTs. Regardless, that is bad. Not saying the QB is bad, just that he definitely had a bad day.
Darnold is gonna get exposed just like all returning QBs have. Winston returned and threw a lot of picks. Watson same thing. When colleges get more film on a young QB they definitely exploit their weaknesses
