Georgia is a country in eastern Europe. Tbilisi is its capital and largest city.

    I appreciate the insight, though.

i've been wanting to visit for a while now. heard the food is really good and the sights in tbilisi are surprisingly impressive. it's also the birthplace of wine (~8000yrs), they age it in huge clay vats buried in the soil.

I know a lot of people who have been. Israel has a LOT of Georgian immigrants and it's in the neighborhood, relatively speaking.

Mostly people talk about the food.

Life is tough over there. Nothing comes easy in Georgia. Every day is like Game 7 in the playoffs.

Odd coincidence but I was looking at Georgia on Google Satellite maps today and it looked to be one of the most blessed spots on Earth... lots of green, lots of water, gentle mountain slopes and valleys, sea access on two sides. Sort of like Northern Italy.

I was looking at Fallujah since it was in the news, then followed the Euphrates to it's source and sort of just panned around.
