You probably can't get just Brand or Allen for Steve, let alone adding on other players. It would be more like: Ray Allen for Steve plus a pick Elton Brand for Steve plus Griffin
FD, I think you overrate Steve's value a good bit. Look at Milwaukee's record? First of all, 5 of their 8 losses have come against Western Conference teams with another loss against a very good Detroit team on the road. Also, what frontcourt do they have to support Redd and Ford? Joe Smith is a good role player but other than that, they are very thin at the power positions. If you took Redd and Ford off that team and replaced them with Francis, I dont think their record improves much if at all. TJ Ford also is going to improve a LOT in this league, this is just the tip of the iceberg. In addition, when he does develop, dont expect to get him in a trade (he probably isnt even up right now). TJ Ford is an incredible basketball talent who I was able to watch many times at Texas, the guy will be something special in this league within the next few seasons.
