Stone's wife followed Oladipo on twitter so im just going to assume they arent planning on trading him. Ok...enough of my nba twitter stalking for the week.
LeVert is possibly a much better fit as a player here (better passer and playmaker and shooter - not as good an individual scorer), but his contract goes beyond this season. It feels like taking on salary is not the idea, instead trying to create a max slot for the future is the M.O. Who cares if he won't report, move him on asap. Surely somebody out there is willing to take Oladipo off our hands for a deferred pick?
Hey guys I know a few things regarding Dipo... he is going to be here but doesn’t expect to be here long term... his agent called my sister yesterday to get temporary housing in H Town not an insider at all btw
Oladipo probably doesn't want to be in Houston long term, but I think the reports or rumors are more based on speculation than anything. 'Dipo always wanted to go to the Heat. Why would him being traded to Houston change any of that? Of course he still wants to go to his #1 destination.
Dipo doesn’t want to be here Ben Simmons didn’t want to be here Wall and Boogie about to hold another press conference?
Man **** this guy ... stay at home oladipo we already had enough of guys not wanting to be here. At least Harden did give it a shot. Trade him 1st chance plz we need not anymore cancers....
Huh. So dominos are now falling before they're even in place. What the common denominator is, seems obvious. Executives, coaches, players, and now yet-to-be players... I think at this point the only way out is through. You have to hope this fire burns itself out, until it forces the most ultimate of possible change. I mean, if it becomes common knowledge/practice, that no one wants to play for your team, there's only one move right?
He doesn't want to be here longterm but I'm guessing he won't have a problem finishing up the year and then going to Miami. That's what he was going to do anyway in Miami.
Relaaax with the doom and gloom. Dipo will report. Every damn tweet is quoting the same KOC quote of Victor wanting to play in Miami. Even if so, that's a good thing for us since MIA doesn't have the cap space and would HAVE to give us assets in a sign and trade. Either way this is a win for us. I think Dipo fits this team well, Houston is a great city with no state taxes, so he can easily change his mind and commit, and if not, like I said we can get assets back for him quite easily.
CH44 already confirmed this morning that oladipo will be a rocket. so the media whores are probably just stirring up shhit as usual
It does feel like it’s taking awhile to get these physicals done. I’m curious if something showed up with the physicals and teams are haggling over additional compensation. It obviously wouldn’t be Harden. But I could see there being more scrutiny over Oladipo or Lavert.
Maybe he has learned that all he has to do is make a threat, and he will get what he wants. Todays NBA.
