I posted this on the game thread during game 3, that I thought the crowd was tepid and just as bad as the Rockets players.
A number of people tried to make the point that "Why would they be loud or positive when the team was giving them nothing to be positive about".
I tried to express just how lazy it seemed the energy from the crowd was, even at the start of Gm 3. In fact, the players and the fans deserved each other in Gm 3. Both were terrible imo.

Gm 4? The energy was so different from tip off. Gm 3 felt like fake energy. Fake hypeness from the fans despite the fact it was such an important game for the team to win. Yesterday the fans were on it from the start. It was almost (if not just as much) as hype as it was for the Clippers Game 7.

The players fed off it. Some believe the players feed off the fans energy and some feel they don't. I talked to guys with both teams and everyone agreed that the energy was different from the start of game 4. Even before the Rockets got off to the big lead. The fans just seemed ready(and so did the players).

I hope the Rox will be able to bring it back to TC for Game 6 and I'm sure the crowd will bring it for that game(or at least I hope).
I was just glad that both the players and fans were into it from the start yesterday and wish both players and fans came out like that in Gm 3.

It is so crucial for these fans for the Rockets to get off to a hot start like they did in game 4. It has seemed rare this season for the fans to be electric while the team is flat. The one main exception was game 7 vs. LAC. Every time the Clippers punched back and went on a run, the fans got rowdy again.

The real fans show up in the face of a sweep and biblical flooding. Much respect.

Players are human beings. However the fans are feeling emotionally, the players are most likely feeling the same way.

The fans weren't really amped for game 3, and it's not surprising the players weren't either.

That's what was crazy to me. How both the players and the fans didn't seem amped up for game 3, which was probably the most important game.

Hopefully the Rockets will bring it back for game 6 and both the fans and players bring the energy from the start again.

Hey, her husband didn't drive her all the way from Kingwood to listen to fans cheer at a Rockets game.

The fans had nothing to be cheered in the game 3. The rockets played bad from the beginning to the end.

Fans were bad from the start in game 3 indeed and there was no reason for that. There were high hopes after game 2 that we could win, that it was much better now is odd but I guess even our fans are the best when the circumstances are the direst (0-3 down ;).

She's an usher. A lot of them are like this on the floor. I've been asked to quit chatting at players numerous times and I just ignore them while they eye ball my the entire game. They ruin the crowd.

OP, you're nuts. I was at game three and the fans were not lackluster. They were cheering them on well into the 3rd quarter when it became apparent to all that there was no fight left in the Rockets. At that point everyone was just stunned at how badly they were playing. Dwight and Harden did not give up but the rest of the team did. The fans were there and loud. The Rockets just quit. I have been to other playoff games and the difference was that in those games the Rockets showed up and the fans energy grew throughout the game. Fans can tell when the team is not there and responds accordingly. This loss cannot be put on the fans in the stadium. The fans, including me paid hundreds of dollars to be there and give the Rockets all the energy they needed and we all went home with hoarse voices from yelling at the top of our lungs.

Don't try laying that loss on the fans.

If anything the fans that attended that game deserve a full refund.

Exactly. Some dumbass kept doing that in one of the playoff games I went to. Kept hitting us or damn near close every time (fan in our faces). Gave him the stink eye once and he stopped.

I was at the game going at it with Draymond Green all night, nothing offensive just expressing my hatred towards him and one of the ushers told me to stop or they would have escorted me out. I dont care it would have been worth it. :p

That b..ch put her hand on his mouth...I don't know how he maintained his control...I would have slapped a few times in the face with that towel for touching...I hate sour fans of the opposing teams...we get a few around us at Texans games and they get irritated at my excitement..."sorry bro...you picked the wrong stadium to get all pissy at," i would yell back,,,lol!!! The arrogance she had though, thinking she had the right to put her hand on his face is just appalling.
