The message is the vast majority of unlicensed massage therapists jack off clients and Watson likes to get jacked off frequently it appears.

The beautiful thing about the trade to Cleveland is that I now no longer care about this stuff.

Clutch should move this thread to the NFL football forum now!
Its not longer a Texans related thread!

Wonder if there’s a clause in his contract that nullifies it if anything comes of the charges

How insane would it be if Watson gets indicted during his press conference with the Browns?

The fact that they made his base salary $1 million this year pretty much acknowledges they all feel he’s going to be suspended for some time.

If he was truly “innocent”, with absolutely no wrongdoing, why would they anticipate that?

Because guys like Roethlisberger and Ezekial Elliott got suspended with no criminal charges.

Sure… but they didn’t proactively restructure contracts prior to that announcement, no?

There wasn't a bidding war for their services and the only way the Browns got it done was the new contract.

I mean it's just risk mitigation. Being suspended has nothing to do with whether Watson is innocent or not.

Mainly talking about restructuring a base pay to minimize a potential future suspension. Its guilty AF type behavior. Smart on his part but fairly transparent and hard to buy the "we didn't do anything!" defense.

I'm sure he's 100% innocent when he anticipates he's getting suspended...

Buzbee said that he has 17 more depositions of Watson still to take, as part of the 22 lawsuits that have been filed against him alleging sexual assault and inappropriate conduct. Buzbee added that there are four more women who have yet to file suit but whom he expects will do so.

"As far as additional lawsuits, I have been contacted by additional women, who I'm deciding whether I'm going to take their case or somebody else will, that are wanting to file suit against Deshaun Watson," Buzbee said.

The lawyer also said he expects there to be "additional women who file criminal charges."
