    Yea I just picked up a garmin 660 for 399 at Best Buy. This thing rocks....I was paying 20 dollars a day from dollar rental car.

    I went to Circuit City and was tempted to get one, but then realized I have done no research at all on portable GPS devices, and would at least like to do some before hand.

    Seems like TomTom, Garmin and Magellan are the 3 main brands. Any particular opinions here as to which is best.

    The only conclusion I made at the store is that 3.5" is too small for a screen.

    I like the TomTom so far. I just wish it would say the Streetnames instead of just "Turn Left"
