Yeah, I was also going to say that a water jet cutter would be my suggestion. Clean and fast. Although, now that I look closer at it, all the letters have sharp corners, so I suspect they've actually been punched out. It doesn't really matter just for the sake of getting the message across, so I'd still find someone with a CNC water jet or plasma cutter.
