Since his departure as show runner on AMC's "The Walking Dead," many have been greatly anticipating filmmaker Frank Darabont's return to television. Originally titled "L.A. Noir," then "Lost Angeles," TNT have now confirmed that the six-episode event drama series will be titled "Mob City". They've also set an air date - Wednesday, December 4th at 10pm. Set in Los Angeles in 1947, the story deals with the fight between a powerful yet corrupt police force and organised crime figures like Ben 'Bugsy' Siegel (Ed Burns) and Mickey Cohen (Jeremy Luke) who are trying to move in on the territory. Neal McDonough, Jeffrey DeMunn, Jon Bernthal, Gregory Itzin, Robert Knepper, Milo Ventimiglia, Alexa Davalos and Simon Pegg star in the series, and you can check out the just released first trailer for it below: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/kv3mLRo8Xaw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/28157/darabont-s-tnt-show-gets-date-title-clip Looks like it could be very impressive...
