Wow that’s crazy and sad. RIP.

Drowning in a jacuzzi isn’t easy.. as a grown adult.. wonder if something else happened that caused it.

He's had pill/drug issues for a couple of decades, it's a safe bet.

Sucks, I thought he had gotten his s!!t together a few years ago.

Rip. Drugs are def involved if you just drown in a jacuzzi.

"Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" was a totally underappreciated show that got cancelled way too soon, and he was great in it

    Peak Sorkin.

He had newsroom a few years later to fill out the rest of his needs, but a newsroom isn’t as entertaining as the set of a sketch comedy show.

If it had come out today, on a streaming platform, would have gone at least 3-4 seasons.

Can't believe he made it to 54, I guess the wonders of modern medicine. If he had any sort of a career at the time I'm sure he would have been MeToo'd into oblivion. Good Riddance.

I wouldn't be so quick to blame drugs. I mean, his prior drug use probably didn't do his body any good... but if he had been exercising and then got into a hot jacuzzi...

Whatever led to his death, that's really sad.

Truth. ...and I don't even love Sorkin all that worshipfully much, he's great, but he also crawls way too far up his ass from time to time with his dialogue (see also: David Mamet)

The "Morning Show" show on Apple is good (haven't watched the new season), but it's not as good as that fake snl show could have been good-to-great

Yeah. Sorkin is like Wade Phillips. When he first gets there, it’s amazing. Then after you realize he’s doing the same thing over and over again, not as effective.
