Yeah right now I've got a real bone to pick with the NBA. I think there's this perception because we play a more finesse game inside (as opposed to less-talented bruisers like Dwight Howard and Al Jefferson last night) we get fouled less. It's absurd. So many times the past two games I was screwing at the TV and giving the refs the finger for our drives that simply ended in no-calls. The only calls we ever get are the obvious breakaway plays where they fouls us to prevent the easy bucket.

Another thing I believe that causes this is that the Rockets do not foul very much on the defensive end, so as a result the referees try to balance this by not creating too much of a disparity for the other team when they defend us. Especially on the road. "Let the players play" is such a cop out when one team is fouling and the other is not.

I think the fact that T-Mac is getting fouled and not getting calls is messing with his head and why, every now and then, he will "settle" for a jumper that if he was getting some calls might have been a drive.

if I'm not mistaken, I think I noticed that T-mac has a slightly different routine before shooting free throws, maybe that is why he's making more. Also, that 21 or so free throws he supposedly made in a row in that contest against luther may have given him some more confidence.

He's a career 75% FT shooter. It's the law of averages. He'll revert to his good FT shooting sooner or later.
