I did a bit better than most, only missing 16. But some of them seemed just plain weird. ------------------
You missed 8 words. Here are the correct spellings of the ones you got wrong: minuscule millennium cemetery accommodate desiccate all right existence liquefy ------------------ "Oh No..." -Bill Walton in 97 just before Stockton's buzzer beater
I only missed one. I still think it's controversial; they said "alright" was incorrect and "all right" was correct. Now, I've seen lots of uses of "alright" in books. Maybe it's considered a "British-only" spelling, though it's hard to remember which is which. Spelling used to be my main useful talent in life (other than taking standardized tests; and both are only useful in your early years). Never made it to the Washington spelling bee, though; lost my nerve in the regional and made a stupid guess. It was luck that I got that far anyway (lucky guesses). It's just hard to know all the words, unless you study the dictionary. And who has time for that? ------------------ Isabel,clutchcity.net lurker since 1996 All your base are belong to Heypartner.
