With Sasha getting two lightly protected firsts from Chicago you got to wonder what Harden would've gotten, especially if nets at out of playoff standing with Kyrie being Kyrie and KD injured.....

Love the beard but him forcing out early in the season minimized the gains we would've gotten.

    Edit: I meant Nikola ......

I feel like we are close to coming out of this with a big fail. Wish I could be optimistic

Or Harden could have gotten injured. Or sat out, plummeting his stock.

We got four unprotected FRPs, three swaps, and an asset in Oladipo that will likely land us more. If anything, the trades I’ve seen reinforce that we got a pretty good deal for Harden.

Oladipo is going to land us nothing. We should have kept Allen but our owner is a worthless poor.

We’ll see. If don’t trade trade Allen, we don’t get KPJ.

I'm guessing this was a reference to a now-retired actress named Sasha @Jontro

Maybe joe Harris? Would a 18-24 ish Nets team willing to add Harris to the deal? A couple of extra seconds?

Would the Celtics now be more willing to deal now that they're at 21-23? Maybe Jaylen is a little more expendable?

OPs vujacic vs vucevic mistake shows his lack of b-ball knowledge and therefore, this thread should be ignored completely

    harden return dwarfs “Sasha”s return

No way. I think we would have done WORSE trading Harden at the deadline. The Nets would have seen that as 1/4 of his usage with the team being lost, and all teams would know that the Rockets would HAVE TO trade him in the Summer, and would focus on the Summer instead of late season deadline deals.

The best value for a star player is typically two seasons left on their deal at least. The Deron Williams trade IMO is the gold standard in maximizing value by projecting team decline before it's obvious to the league, and dealing ahead of the player and their agent being able to start the process of courting a suitor outside of the teams control.

Stone should have traded him BEFORE Westbrook this Summer before Harden made it clear he wanted out. That would have been the best deal for the team IMO.

Boston doesn't trade tons of picks, Jaylen you'd just be looking to flip and he's not getting close to the nets return. Harris i suppose you could flip for a pick? VERY unlikely we'd do better from the nets or anyone else.
