Clothes - i get American Eagle , Aeropostale , Banana Republic , etc Soda - if i ever drink Soda , it has to be Coca Cola. Shoes - Has to be Nike or Adidas.
Hard to think of something I never buy generic. There are specific generic brands I avoid, but for the most part, generics are good. I don't usually buy soda, but when I did, I rarely purchased generic, because they don't taste like the name brands. The don't necessarily taste bad, just different. Cereal used to be on my name-brand only list, but the store brands have improved dramatically. There is some risk in choosing a store brand cereal. Target's Market Pantry & Publix generic are my two favorites now, though I still do the vast majority of my shopping at Wal-Mart and Kroger.
Toilet paper - must be Charmin Ice Cream - Has to be Blue Bell Athletic shoes - Doesn't have to be a specific brand exactly, but definitely cannot be some no-name knockoff, there really IS a difference in quality
How about over counter medicines like Tylenol, Advil, Robitussin, etc.? Think I remember reading somewhere that there is absolutely no difference between name brand and store branded. And in a lot of cases the store branded one is about 50% cheaper.
Food ... I try to eat all natural foods, its expensive but I think my health is more important. I might still get a disease and struggle, but I'm trying to reduce those chances. To those people that say they eat crap and are still alive, good on you, but don't think it doesn't hurt your probability of getting sick in the future.
Razors. The good ones are WAY overpriced, but if I try the knockoffs or disposable ones, my face is ripped to shreds.
