During this last freeze, a simple $50 - $100 part on my pool heater...called a quick flange where the IN and OUT PVC water lines hook to the heater...cracked along with some PVC piping and an elbow. The pool heater is kind of old but these things are made to last for years. Of course, I find they discontinued parts for it and I can't find the part I need. So, I have a worthless $3k pool heater. I've decided to have someone bypass it and plumb it out until such time as I feel like replacing it. That made my day! Things that suck!
Can't wait for the properly timed "that's what she said" comment. Come on people, provide the material already!
I suggest heading over to Bissonet between 59 and Beltway 8. Should have great success there if you are looking for things that suck
Logitech stopped making universal remotes and is only selling/supporting what is already out there. ARE U F-ING KIDDING ME? So much for having a quality remote to control the entertainment system. I have a Harmony One remote that is dying a slow battery death. Maybe I'll see if I can find a replacement before it is too late? Sigh.
There are so many options for replacement batteries for that remote (and pretty much any electronics) on Amazon.
This is one of my closest friends. He shop-vacc'd his office all day X-Mas day. 200+ empties. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CmnhwTkpLOL/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link He said they couldn't find a remediation place right away. Finally found one at 8pm but at that point they had done most of the standing water.
I'm not really all that confident in cracking it open and getting it back together again in one piece. I'll look into it, though.
