So, the new headphones thread got me thinking about purchases I want to make. 1) Breitling Navitimer 01 2) Used Porsche 944 3) Pair of Allen Edmonds Strand shoes in cordovan leather 4) Gucci black leather briefcase Anyone else desiring things they can't afford?
I have a Breitling Navitimer Cosmonaute Chronograph that I wear very little, the wife bought it for me but I'm really not a watch guy at all. Planning on handing it down to my child, whenever that happens. I also own a pair of Allen Edmonds Cordovan Dundee's, the boot slide ons. LOVE those but wear them mostly on weekends, sometimes to work. Big fan. I've had them for a year and they still have the same leather soles. I rarely see anyone carrying brief cases anymore? I got rid of mine and carry a Marc Jacobs leather portfolio bag for my work laptop, personal touchpad, etc. Much more convenient to carry over the shoulder and it holds a lot of crap.
the one thing i desire most in life...if i can retire with one, i will live out my days in pure happiness.
That was literally one of the worst things ever typed my way in the history of the internet, butthole. I should have included- I WANT A BABY! Pretty much it.
I've always wanted to buy a boat, maybe when I retire I'll have enough money saved up for it and hopefully i'll have learned how to swim by then.
Nothing could be MORE TRUE than this. What a pain in the ASS! Also, good luck trying to sell it. It took my father two years to sell his, but finally found a buyer after Ike. Dude needed someplace to sleep while his house was being rebuilt, bought it and my father took one hell of a loss. Thing was brand new but both engines needed constant work, then the cost to leave at the marina...way too many headaches.
my g/f insisted on a hot tub for her new bathroom. That was 3 years ago. She's used it maybe 8 times.
