The Truth on the Morris Acquisition

    With everyone trying to compare TMo to Rashard Lewis or Robert Horry I thought I would throw in a name from the past as well...

    Rodney McCray

    He exelled at defense
    He could handle the ball and played some point forward
    He could rebound with the big boys
    Very passive on offense but could score when called on.

    McCray was one of those players that let the came come to him and very seldom forced anything. He was very content not being the main attraction.

    That is almost exactly how I would describe TMo. TMo is a better shot blocker than McCray was but not as physically strong and a little taller.

    Wow, I really didn't think my thread would get this many views, but i just wanted to say thanks for posting my quote on the front page, as corny as it sounds, but I just like being able to voice my opinion to people on this board who actually know something about the Rockets.
