I generally feel it is my duty to watch the State of the Union, but I just can't tonight.
I already know everything he's gonna say and how all of our problems stem from Biden.
I think I will give my dog a bath and a good tooth brushing.

To be fair, nobody -- none of us -- know exactly what weird tangents might emerge and how long it will go. There's also the dramatic tension of possibly catching shart noises on a live mic?

But yeah, I'm with you on washing the dog. Or actually, a friend is offering to take me out for a beer, so I'll do that.

What is up with republicans not being able to stay away from children? It’s an epidemic

atp, we’re gonna see one get arrested for doing something sexual in public with some sour patch kids

What is so hard about staying away from minors?

Incomplete reporting there. Should read: "Faces 15 Years to Life, or promotion to the President's cabinet."

Lois' boss Craig from Malcom in the Middle is really doing great. Really moving up in the world.

He should have known it’s only legal to be a pedophile if you have a net worth north of 100 million. People need to read books.

It was about what I expected, though awarding military honors to SOTU guests is another escalation of politicians stealing valor. The surprise to the recipient during a political speech also deprives them of the traditional formal ceremony where multiple family members and friends can be there. The usual ceremony also demands the time and attention of the President, which is a good thing for the Commander in Chief to do on occasion and reminds them of the costs of war. Inserting two minutes into a political speech is not the same thing. For reference, here's a ceremony from the Obama years.

I'm pretty sure I have never watched a SOTU live in my whole life. Even with presidents I liked. I just read a couple articles the next day.

The Republican vs Republican political ads are so ridiculously bad. These turds only have one playbook. It’s the same one they use against the Dems. They just call each other woke and kiss Trumps ass non stop. That’s all they got.

Sadly, this strategy seems to work in Texas. Embarrassing.

Agree. All they do is make me not want to vote for any of them. Being a Trump butt kisser is the last thing I'd want to see.

I’ll confess, it’s so bad that I bought an ad free membership to YouTube just so I can catch something… anything without these insane ads in my face 24/7. Like who watches that and is like fck yes!! Now I wanna go vote??

Why do you think both the Crocket and the Talarico camps have decided to forgo these traditional ad campaigns? I find it interesting that Dems this cycle just aren’t wasting money on tv ad buys.

When the party that has people like this in it has 73% of you approve then you probably need to look at yourself in the mirror and wonder about your life choices.

I don’t think Fetterman’s staff that need to get him re-elected as a DEMOCRAT look at that poll and think they are succeeding at much of anything. The guy is all but guaranteed to get destroyed in his primary, and also get destroyed in the Republican primary if he switches parties.

He does excite you though which means that his number one goal seems to be to piss off Democrats which is all you care about. If you thought nuking Delaware would get angry posts online from Dems you’d cake your pants at the idea of nuking Deleware. It’s pretty pathetic that you get this excited about half the country being upset about something.

Pretty sad existence if you ask me. Get a hobby. Touch grass. Do something rather than whatever the hell is you are now.
