Whats sucks is that after watching that crap I felt like I was a victim of a conversation hostage scenerio.... I'm glad she finally stopped talking...
pretty ironic that the video is what its about. and i feel like that was probably top 10 most wasteful time i have ever spent on the internet.
Why are they doing a satire on the purest form of reality television out there? I'm a fan of shows like Biography Channel's "I Survived," and it's all raw terrifying emotion of situations that are never funny. The shows are all about watching your best friend die in your arms in a crash, or a girl seeing her friend get raped and murdered, or being on the brink of death after being kidnapped and tortured, but surviving and trying to make sense of things and personal stories of growth. How is it funny to mock such a serious subject matter? I must be missing the point...I just don't get some types of comedy.
I chuckled a little bit when the guy said "An immigrant." Otherwise, I'm with Kim. I'm not sure why they chose this format to do their satire.
I thought it was pretty funny. If you take out all the F-bombs it would be more realistic and satirical and therefore funnier.
The performance is excellent (she has a great emotive face and conveys emotion well vocally) and the writing is strong. I am not sure the subject matter (rape PSAs?) is exactly ripe for satire. I would be very interested to see that actress in another role.
