Clippers didn't rest Paul on back to backs, only got rest at the end of the season, so it isn't inability to play, it is the team trying to schedule strategic rest against a bad team, but it failed.

    Didn't Knight come hurt?

Well, MCW you can blame him for, pre-season is useless, but he also wasn't signed after pre-season. MCW was signed early in free agency after his atrocious play last season and the season before, and basically his whole career. So yes, MCW not transforming into a good or even average player was not surprising, it was the expectation, the transformation would have been the exception. Could have used the roster spot on some more useful minimum guys, but it was an okay gamble, just gotta find a way to get rid of him.

Given their injury history it shouldn't be no surprise

Not sure if he did, but reports were he needed surgery after the trade.

Mcw could have looked good in practice sessions with players during free agency and he looked good during free agency. Once the regular season starts, nba defenses are too smart for players like mcw to be allowed on the floor.

Use picks to trade them. GM likes picks.

You say that, but the rockets dont have room, trade chips or assets/players to trade. Guys like love may be available, but he costs way too much for what he brings to the table and if he doesnt pan out it would be the final nail in the coffin.

If the Rockets continue to be this bad, Why not trade Chris Paul to the Lakers, James Harden for Picks to Boston. Harden is 29 yrs old and his high trade value will be gone soon especially being out of shape, injured, drinking, his body is going to break down soon. He might retire at 35, the way he acts is like a amateur Streetball Diva.
I want to rebuild this Roster badly. Clint Capela, Gary Clark are to keep everyone goes.
Tired of Harden being out of shape, injured, nonchalant way of playing defense, always ball watching.

I think Morey and the rest of the front office would be a bit too smart to use practice sessions instead of 5 seasons of NBA play. That's actually a negative for them if they were basing their signing on anything like that.

Last year was the Rockets final form. They can't compete with the Warriors (especially when Cousins returns). Rebuilding now might be the smartest thing to do before it's too late. The Celtics window will close eventually and if the Rockets rebuild now they should peak when it does.

Trade Harden and Capela to the Celtics for:
    · 3-4 First picks (includes the Kings pick)
    · Tatum
    · Horford
    · Morris

Reason: MVP James Harden is easily worth Tatum and 3 first picks. Capela is easily worth Horford and Morris. The Celtics need a dynamic duo to get past the Warriors and be a the top. The Warriors still have assets to trade for another player and they will be a top landing spot for any players that get waived.

Run that Squad for a while with CP3 to up his value then trade CP and maybe a pick to the Wiz for:
    · John Wall
    · Otto Porter (bad contract)

Reason: The Wiz are off to a bad start and they are tired of dealing with John Wall. He can’t shoot and you need your guards to shoot. Wall can come to the Rockets to turn things around.

Run that squad for a while to up Wall’s value and then finally:

    · Trade Wall for 2 firsts (or see if Phoenix still needs a PG and package Wall, Gordon and two firsts for Booker)
    · PJ Tucker for 2 firsts
    · Horford for a first
    · Morris for a first
    · Gordon for a first
    · Porter for a (late) first or package a first to get rid of him if he plays poorly
    · And there should be a buyer/first available for 2 of Green, Chriss, Ennis, Clark, Hartenstein, Melo with all of the playing time they get.

Now the Rockets have between 7-13 first round picks including their own and everyone off the books with Cousins, Butler, Durant, Kyrie, Klay, Kemba, and Dragic as free agents. You could have:

    Dragic
    Jimmy Butler (max)
    Tatum
    Zion
    Cousins (2-3 year max)

Chances are the Warriors will lose one of Cousins, Klay, or Durant (most likely Cousins), so the Rockets get a competing team for the next 5 years with many picks.

So much youth on the NBA Rosters, young 20 year olds Franchise Players

    Contenders - Warriors, Raptors, Bucks

    Interesting- Lakers, OKC, 76ers, Boston

Upward Trend - Sacramento, Dallas, Jazz

    Process - Suns, Hawks, Wolves

Jump ship has a good idea. Get Zion Tatum and 13 first round picks, then sign superstars.

With Rockets fans Attendance not caring about the Team, why not sell everyone off.
It starts with Harden and Paul.
I wish Danny Ainge would run the Rockets, collect as many draft picks as possible.
I want Morey and Tillman to face Reality and sell off everyone.
Gary Clark is the only Cheap Deal to keep. No offense but the talent level of Rookie Contract is the worst on this Rockets Roster, everyone is unplayable.
The Chris Paul trade was the one that set us back
Montrezl Harrell, 15 Points 8 rbs his skillset, youth, shot blocking is needed now
Lou Williams, traded a 1st Rd pick, Corey Brewer, Lou scoring is needed off the bench
Traded a 1st Rd pick to the Clippers, So the Rockets lost 2 1st Rd picks
That trade killed the Rockets Roster, plus not having 1st Rd picks

I think the Jimmy Butler would've made the team play worse. No 4 1st Rd Picks.
    Butler leaves to the Clippers.
Future would've been more of a disaster

The celtics are in the shape they are in now because they realized they could not win anymore after they peaked with their best players aging. They traded pierce, kg, perkins and rondo. Now they have to realize in order to win they need a player of harden’s caliber and an elite pick and roll man like capela to run with kyrie and harden.

hope so. I believe in Morey but this has been his worst off-season. It's hard to justify half of your roster being unplayable coming off of a deep playoff appearance.
